My office is open, but just like everone else I am sheltering in place and social distancing. This has been very hard especially for thetype of work I do. Getting to know Attorney Pilon

This former United States Army JAG officer has experiece and training to represent you effectively in divorces, modifications for child support, parenting time (visitation). I also have experience other areas of family law such as contempts as well as in guardianships and removal cases. I will be there to support you.

I have  had the pleasure of  representing individuals as a family law attorney for over 20 years in the Springfield area. I can provide services in both English and Spanish. My approach to family law is family / child-centered, having worked for DCF (Massachusetts Department of Children and Families) for seven years.  I am sensitive to all the issues that may affect you or your family and I have the experience to diligently advocate on your behalf.

I am a trial attorney. Since 1999, I have been regularly appointed by the Court to represent children and parents in State Intervention Cases. These are cases where the Department of Children and Families (DCF) has taken custody of children.  I am appointed  to represent either the parents or the children.  These case are very difficult and because of their nature these cases are closed to the public and can result in the termination of parental rights.  There is no greatest loss that can be defended in the eyes of a parent. I have participated in hundreds of these cases through out the years, advocating for my clients each step of the way, by asserting and protecting their rights.

I am also a Court Investigator for the Juvenile Court and have done this for over 20 years. I was a Social Worker for the Department of Social Services, now, DCF in Springfield for 7 years where I provided direct services to my clients in both English and Spanish.

I served in the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout (5th CAV.) and later as a JAG officer. Service to my country is important to me. I believe in the blessings that our country has afforded us and volunteered to protect these.

I attended Assumption College in Worcester,MA where I studied Political Science with a minor in philosophy as well as history. Upon my graduation from Assumption College, I attended Suffolk Law School in Boston, MA.

Larry leaves no stone unturned working in behalf of his clients.

“I had peace of mind whilie working with Larry who was very good about explaining the divorce process. He was great with getting my divorce done quickly. He always handled my situation with respect and understanding. “

He was very responsive to questions and phone calls, took care of everything in a timely fashion, and is a professional. I highly recommend him!
